carrying on the giving legacy of one of this community's founding

Superintendent of the Roseland School District
For her contribution to youth development in the Roseland district. Through her
advocacy of high-quality education youth in Southwest Santa
Rosa, Ms. Ahlas has become a tireless supporter of health and
well-being in our community.
Health Leadership Award:
RICK FLINDERS, MD
Clinical Professor, Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency
For his contribution to the health of the people of Santa Rosa,
especially low-income, underserved populations. Dr. Flinders is a founding member
of the Sutter Residency Program's Faculty Practice. Because of his
commitment to the best training for medical professionals in Santa Rosa,
he has been a key force in ensuring the health of our community for
generations to come.

For being links between the business community and charitable
organizations like SCHC, and for helping SCHC realize its dream of

For his
eight years of service to SCHC and contributions to the Diabetes
Collaborative, making SCHC a center for excellence in diabetes care.
ABIGAIL BARAJAS
SCHC Teen Services Coordinator
For her nine years of service to SCHC and for her work in teen services
at Elsie Allen Health Center, Teen Clinic, Teen Advocacy Group (TAG),
and other health programs in schools and throughout the community.
