The A Street Clinic, previously known as the Santa Rosa Free Clinic, provides a wide array of medical, mental health, substance recovery and case management services to meet the urgent needs of homeless individuals and the medically uninsured. The A Street Clinic functions as a partnership between the Santa Rosa Community Health Centers and a variety of public health and non-profit agencies including Sonoma County Mental Health Services, Catholic Charities, The Drug Abuse Alternative Center, and the Sonoma County Task Force for the Homeless.
The staff of The A Street Clinic includes employees of the Santa Rosa Community Health Centers and Sonoma County Mental Health Services, in addition to community volunteers. The clinic is also a teaching site for residents in the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and UCSF Medical Students.

How to Make an Appointment:
The A Street Clinic provides care on a first-come, first-serve basis; no advance appointment is necessary. Patients sign up for services at the door. There is often a wait for services, on busy days, the wait time for medical or psychiatric appointments can be several hours.

Insurance & Fees:
Everyone is welcome at Santa Rosa Community Health Centers, even if you are uninsured or can’t afford to pay.
We accept: Medi-Cal, Medicare, CMSP, Healthy Families, FamilyPACT, Gateway/CHDP, and offer low cost fees if you are uninsured. Families needing help to apply for low-income insurance can call 707-547-2222 for an appointment with our Certified Application Assistant.
Uninsured? Not a problem. If you are uninsured, we offer a sliding fee scale for office visits. The exact fee is calculated based on your family size and monthly income.
