Cost
SCHC provides primary medical care for people with Medi-Cal or who are uninsured or underinsured. If you are uninsured, SCHC offers a sliding scale for services based on income. We also offer low- or no-cost medications.

What you should know
If you don't have insurance, don't wait until you have a medical need. Register as an SCHC patient as soon as possible and get to know your doctor BEFORE there is an emergency. It usually takes about three weeks to get an appointment at either of our primary care clinics.
If you have an immediate medical need you should go to an urgent care facility or hospital emergency room.

If you are uninusred, you may qualify for our sliding scale or for other programs that will pay for your visit.

If you have private insurance, please contact a doctor in your provider network. SCHC is unable to take new, insured patients at this time.
