Cost
SCHC provides primary medical care for people with Medi-Cal or who are uninsured or underinsured. If you are uninsured, SCHC offers a sliding scale for services based on income. We also have agreements with local pharmacies for low-cost medications.

What you should know
•		If you don't have insurance, don't wait until you have a medical need. Register as an SCHC patient as soon as possible and get to know your doctor BEFORE there is an emergency.
•		If you have an immediate medical need you should go to an urgent care facility or hospital emergency room.
•		If you are uninsured, you may qualify for our sliding scale or for other programs that will pay for your visit.
•		If you have private insurance, please contact a doctor in your provider network. SCHC is unable to take new, insured patients at this time.
